The month of September offers numerous exciting events to take part in inside of Murfreesboro, and there is something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you are looking for a fun day out with the kids, want to participate in an event to raise awareness or need to find the perfect date to go on with your significant other, Murfreesboro is the place to be. The following are four of the more notable events to consider attending this September in Murfreesboro, TN.

Boro Pride (September 7th)

On September 7th the Tennessee Equality Project is putting on the Boro Pride in downtown Murfreesboro. The event is held to celebrate the LGBTQ community and it is completely free for all who are interested. During the event, there will be musical acts, delicious food and beverage vendors, information tables and much more. The time of the event is 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM CST, and the venus is the downtown Murfreesboro square. Everyone is welcome to come out and show support to our LGBTQ community and enjoy a great time of great music, food and fun. 

Kid’s Club: Pirates Day (September 14th)

If you live in Murfreesboro and have kids, then the Kid’s Club Pirate’s Day is the perfect event to attend with the family. Your kids will get the opportunity to meet a pirate, and enjoy fun face painting, arts and crafts, balloon art, games and much more. If your children are one of the first 100 to sign up, then they get a free gift bag full of fun items. This event is set for September 14th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and the admission is completely free. The venue is Stones River Town Centre, which is at 1720 Old Fort Parkway in Murfreesboro. 

Corn Maze Adventure (September 18th - November 1st)

Lucky Ladd Farms offers exciting events all throughout each year, and this September 18th they open their Corn Maze Adventure, which is a fun corn maze open to all who are interested. You can conquer the corn maze by capturing the six checkpoints, and it is the perfect event to attend with a significant other as it requires teamwork and is incredibly fun. Lucky Ladd Farms also offers other fun activities as well, including pony rides, playgrounds and more. The corn maze is open through November 1st, and you can find it at 4374 Rocky Glade Road in Eagleville.

Bark Bash: A Festival for Dog Lovers (September 28th)

The 2019 Bark Bash is set to take place on September 28th at the Historic Sam Davis Home and Plantation in Smyrna from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This event features a doggie costume contest and pooch parade, along with fun music and delicious food. Numerous vendors will be in attendance, and you will have the opportunity to contribute to local charities. If you love dogs and want the perfect opportunity to get your family out of the house, then the Bark Bash is the event for you - just do not forget to bring your dog along as well!
