Downtown Murfreesboro will play host to Main Street's 22nd annual JazzFest kicks off on Friday, May 4 with entertainment provided by area high school jazz bands. Saturday, May 5 features a host of professional jazz bands beginning at noon. In addition to some of the best contemporary live jazz, JazzFest offers a variety of activities for attendees of all ages, including festival fare, youth activities in Kids Alley, shopping, and relaxation.

May 04, 2018 to May 13, 2018: Lucky Seven Quarter Horse Circuit
This year’s American Quarter Horse Association-approved Lucky Seven Horse Circuit show will begin on May 4 at Tennessee Miller Coliseum. This show will feature large pleasure, horsemanship, and western and English style classes.

May 06, 2018: Mother's Day Card Workshop
Prepare for Mother’s Day at Quinn’s Mercantile Mother’s Day Card workshop on May 6 from 2-3pm. Local watercolor artist Amanda Harrison will lead this one-hour workshop. Participants will take home a custom hand-painted Mother’s Day card and envelope. No experience is necessary, and the class is open to all ages.
The cost for the class is $35 per person, including all supplies will be furnished. Participants need to preregister for the class. May 18 to May 20, 2018: Spinning in the Rein
Drawing participants from more than 15 states, Spinning in the Rein offers reining horse shows and clinics. Featuring 4-year old futurity and the 7 & Up Derby, this event is always free to the public.

May 26, 2018 to May 28, 2018: 10th annual Flags of Remembrance
Murfreesboro’s iconic Memorial Day salute will return May 26-28, 2018. The Noon Exchange Club of Murfreesboro will host the 10th annual event - an inspiring formation of U.S. flags in tribute to our veterans, our military, and our personal heroes. The display will be on the property of First United Methodist Church.

May 27, 2018: Memorial Day Program
Pay homage to our nation’s veterans at this year’s Memorial Day Program at the National Cemetery Rostrum at Stones River Battlefield. The event will include patriotic music, a wreath laying ceremony, and a reading of the names of veterans who have passed away since last Memorial Day.
