Middle Tennessee Fall Festivals for 2019

Fall is just around the corner, and there are some very interesting and fun fall festivals scheduled in Middle Tennessee in 2019. Whether you are looking for an interesting Fall Festival to take your significant other on a date or want a family-friendly event to take the kids to on a Saturday afternoon, a fall festival is a great way to go. The following are five intriguing fall festivals to consider visiting, and each provides a unique experience you are not likely to find anywhere else. 

 

Summer Shakespeare

The Summer Shakespeare Fall Festival is set to take place this September 26th through the 29th in Franklin, TN at Academy Park Performing Arts Center. The admission is completely free, although they do encourage a voluntary ten dollar donation for the cost of the performance. The event features a stunning Shakespearan performance from highly skilled performers, and there will also be numerous vendors, including food trucks and local restaurants. The event begins at 5:45 PM each night and the performance starts at 7:00 PM.

 

Kidsville Family Festival

On September 21st Kidsville hosts the third annual Kidsville Family Festival, which is a free event that takes place in Centennial Park from 10 AM to 3 PM. The event includes crafts, face painting, inflatable games, a Nashville Predators Fitness Zone and numerous food trucks. There are also mascot appearances from Bruiser, Ensworth The Tiger, Princesses and Booster The Rooster. Your kids are certain to enjoy this fun family festival, and it is a great way to create a genuine bonding experience that will be remembered for years to come. 

 

Granville Fall Festival

The historic town of Granville hosts its annual Fall Festival on October 5th. The event includes fantastic live music, crafts, quilt exhibits and a motorcycle show. You can also experience hundreds of themed scarecrows and a Mayberry theme. The Main Street Fall Festival in Granville is certainly something everyone around Middle Tennessee should experience at least once. Both the admission and parking is completely free, and you can find all of the fun at the downtown area of Granville. 

 

Nashville Oktoberfest

The Nashville Oktoberfest is one of the most famous festivals in the south, and more than 300,000 people are predicted to be in attendance this year. It is located in the heart of Music City in Nashville and spans over ten city blocks. The event includes over five draft beer stations an annual 5K Bier Run, plenty of food, an annual parade and even fun activities for kids. This event is a great place to visit with friends, although it is also kid-friendly enough where they can enjoy the overall experience as well. 

 

Franklin Family Day Festival

This November 2nd, the city of Franklin is holding its 13th annual Franklin Family Day Festival. This late fall event will include live music, hayrides, a petting zoo, horse demonstrations, pony rides, crafts, games, face painting and more. It is scheduled for 10 AM and will run through 2 PM.
